Could have fooled me about what US is doing. Biden is hampering and obstructing our gas and recently did more of that.

Demographically collapsing China - 1.4 billion people..... I don't see it.

ALL wargames show US definitely losing to China if there is war. ALL of them.

What kind of user name, LMAO. JUST noticed. HunterTits? LOL. Does ANYONE use their actual name? LOL. Well, I'm Tani.

It would be great is the US got back to manufacturing, hiring PEOPLE, factories all over. Like the 50s. Right now the US seems to me as if it is finished. My whole family is immigrants so I like immigrants, but at least check who they are. They have an open border here now, nobody knows who gets in. Eric Adams in NYC is in a panic. I am in FL so it's good here, ALL KINDS of people, set up shops, stores, good business, things nice where I am. But so many cities, homeless people galore, drug zombies, crime thru the roof, looting stores, which will eventually just move out if they are smart. Finished. Neocons destroyed the US imo. I don't have any hope on that, but so long as where I am is GREAT, that's fine.

I agree with you. What I DO see is local AC companies, plumbers, roofers, handymen, things like that. I remember when made in America cars became crap, really crap. They used to be good. MY car is good. I had a made in Germany 74 or 75 VW Rabbit. It was excellent. It got wrecked :( So I got a 78 made in the US and the elec system kept bumming out, it was not nearly as good as the one made in Germany. It was around then that American cars were crap. Japanese cars were GOOD tho, all the mechanics knew it. Now my Dodge Spirit is wonderful, I love my car. I have no idea where it was made.

I know how the US lost manufacturing. I was born 1950. I have seen a LOT and it's very sad. Imo vocational education is the way to go. Learn a skill that can't be taken out of the US. College is bs unless it is STEM. I remember ALL the factories here back then. ALL the jobs here. Mid 70s also cost of living did not keep up with wages earned. It never came back either. Just too sad.

Yes, economy is quite bad. Not so bad for us, our elec co lowered the price!

I know. And Unions mean nothing if companies can pick up and leave, which so many did. I got very very sad writing what I wrote, like GRIEVING. It actually hurt, like grief. Companies won't do anything if there are no profits, makes sense. And well, if they make profits with the wages paid these days for such work, who can afford to buy cars like people did in the past when times were good. Again, grief.

Unlike the other poster here, I don't live life based on hope. My feet are firmly on the ground. I am a realist. Grief. Sure, there are the many "if onlys" but I don't have a time machine. BIGGEST eg: NO FOREIGN ENTANGLEMENTS. If only US kept to that. Another eg: NO, do not buy cheaper English steel. We make our own. If only we kept to that.

What is so good where I am with immigrants making stores, little stores, like when I was a kid. I am glad I live where I live. They do a good business because they know what to sell and what people want.

Now, if someone would just make the old fashioned car and call it "old fashioned" and keep it affordable. People would buy. I heard that Russia made some kind of austere car and the west was making fun of it. I tried to find out if I could get one. Can't :(

I just read it. EV? Who the hell can afford that? They are also dangerous as hell as every mechanic knows. Accident, car freezes up, can't be towed, it is LOCKED and if you are in it, heh. Screwed. They can easily blow up, too. Battery dies and it costs THOUSANDS to replace it. Run out of electricity middle of nowhere you can't just walk to a station to get something to fill it. In this case, hybrids are better. What goes into making them comes from child labor in Africa.

I wish the US would just build a good old fashioned car, gas. I have a 1991 Dodge Spirit with over 1 mil miles on it and it's GOOD. I would NOT want a car with all that computer crap in it. My car has automatic windows and I regret that because they can't be replaced. They are the only thing on the old car that's iffy. I'd rather have a regular old fashioned crank it up window. What one might call an austere car. No bells, no whistles. Open doors and start car with a KEY. That is what we need, not this pseudo green garbage. People can hardly afford rent if they need tires and they are supposed to buy an EV? This green lunacy has to stop.

He really isn't bsing. China has factories and gets stuff done. I see Americans even where I am living paycheck to paycheck and working hard. People go to ATM to deposit and usually just leave the receipts there. They don't even have 1000 in the bank! We are way way better off than that, but most Americans are not. We also own home.

I live in the US in case you didn't catch that from what I said. US is not doing much except BLOCKING MORE ABILITY TO GET GAS.
