I enjoyed Lira's opinion pieces and in particular his round-table shows. He was a smart, articulate guy and he chose smart guests (such as Mark and Larry Johnson and Brian Berletic).
Hearing so many contradictory and defamtory statements about him (eg he was a sex tourist in Ukraine--wtf?).
Yes he married a Ukrainian, but I know he stated more than once that his wife and kids were in France. Why a guy who had plenty of money and supposedly plenty of street smarts (remember this was Coarch RedPill) could not get himself out of that strange land and instead chose to broadcast content critical of the regime ... it made a lot of us scratch our heads. Many of us posted comments on his channel to that effect.
I mean, this is the country of the Azov Battalion and where they burned protesters to death in Odessa. Where they assassinated one of their own peace negotiators.
Remember this: he was arrested twice. The first time for a few weeks. He then could have fled or at least stopped posting. And that is when it got weird and scary. Did he have a death wish?
