"Remake the Middle East"; Doesn't that sound so much like the long ago quote from Wesley Clark, "Seven countries in seven years." And furthermore, doesn't that also cast doubt on the 'supposed' US Reluctance to get fully involved?
Mark's assessment 'that boots on the ground are a non-starter for the US, and that this would be a long range destruction plus local proxies and a resurgent ISIS' , fits perfectly with the Neocon agenda.
Also, the "Forever Wars" fit perfectly with "Continuation of Government" which is the implicit goal of every nation. The face of the 'Leaders' don't matter nearly so much as the structural mechanisms.
It's not Netanyahu worrying about staying out of jail...it's Netanyahu trying to avoid the hangman.
