Have to figure that American tech does not improve all that quickly, if at all, because the MIC (which very much includes Congress) is trapped by its own logic: $1B+ for a single Patriot battery. Why, at THAT price is MUST be the best gear of its kind on the planet.

Oh yea, and the US will probably strong-arm Europe into joining in.
