I feel Mark is underestimating Turkey's devotion to US. It plays the cheeky child role but ultimately always follows US interests where it doesn't too severely affect its own interests. Russia has really encouraged this but I suspect that Russia at this moment finally deciedt to react. Merely mentions that Putin has cancelled schedulted visits and Erdogan has not exactly rushed to contratulate Putin on re-election. For sure , watch this space
