Thank you, Brian and Mark. I fear that you are correct, 100%. This will go on for decades, unless NATO/US deliberately takes it nuclear, or a very likely unintentional incident takes it nuclear. This is the Cuban Missile Crisis in terms of the danger, but no one in the US/Five Eyes/Old Europe Blob seems to care at all. In month 15 of this catastrophe, and all the west can do is continue to bluster and escalate, seeing any refusal by Russia to respond in kind, privately, as weakness, and reacting to any actual response publicly by comparing Putin to Satan. I have a very black sense of humor. However, I also have grandchildren. Even wry smiles are difficult to come by now.
