What's really funny is I have an Associate in Applied Science (AAS). One of my classmates became Governor of Arizona.
When I came to America halfway through the 2nd grade my penmanship was exactly like Thomas Jefferson's. I could have scribed the Declaration of Independence and Constitution! In my motherland we learned penmanship halfway through the 1st grade. We used steel quill pens dipped in ink. When I got here the kids were printing/lettering block letters with fat pencils on 3 line paper.
