They are playing with fire… Extraordinary recklessness stemming from desperation and - with the U.S. election looming - the very tangible possibility that Ukraine will collapse. It makes me sick that in their determination to sustain the charade that Ukraine has a chance of beating Russia back, they are willing to risk retaliatory missiles fired at London or other European targets. Love that the U.S. is holding their missiles back so Europe can take the brunt if it comes. 😡

Continue to think (and hope) this is just another elaborate Blinken/Sullivan choreography designed to divert attention from the “facts on the ground” (Ukraine getting battered day after day) to mighty Joe Biden and his band of fearless chickenhawks facing down the evil Russian empire. Can’t have another Afghanistan before November. After the election, all blame will be placed on the hapless president-elect.

Russia always plays by the rules… until there are no longer rules to play by .

Due to Kuleba's idiocy in China, which enraged the Chinese after Kursk happened, China has eyes wide open and knows that negotiations are not possible. That Negotiation shit has been holding Putin back.

But INDIA has either not had their eyes opened, or Putin is once again being played by an India that, by holding Russia back, is helping the West. Brazil might fit that too, according to Duran. Um, what does India give to Russia that is so important? I know Russia can't use rupees for anything. What if Russia stopped selling gas to India? Russia can't keep this going as it only makes Putin seem like a bluffer and makes the West just amp up this shit.

Russia is gonna have to tell its partners to BACK OFF since what they are doing is HARMING RUSSIA now.

The Gaggle, also on Locals like the Duran, feels it may be the West attempting to sow seeds of discord in BRICS. India and Brazil both have western business interests that could hold sway.

It puts Russia in a bad position. If they strike against Britain/France missile manufacturing or military sites it creates more anti Russia sentiment in Europe/US. If they Russia sends weapons to the ME they risk being dragged into a ME war. The best response is probably to just carry on with the SMO and shoot down as many missiles as they can.

I don't know that the Russians really care any more about what the West thinks of them. It just may have sunk in by now among the common people that the West will ALWAYS view Russians as alien--a sort of nomadic Asian horde, even. Bizarre, but there you are.

Ron Unz posited a bold move Putin could take (this was about three months ago, I think): announce that the NATO HQ in Brussels is going to receive a hypersonic or two, on a certain day and at a certain time, and please kindly evacuate the joint. And then simply DO IT.

Even the MSM would be hard pressed to spin this one in our favor. And millions of Euro Peons might go to bed that night with a whole new level of clarity about the capabilities of NATO vs those of Russia.

Not to mention triggering Article 5.

At this point the Russians probably worry a lot less about article 5. NATO is looking pretty lame. If called upon to put up or shut up, a lot of those countries would fold, is my gut feeling.

Even if Eurozone rolls over Russia has to consider their position in BRICS and amongst the global south. Most people think they invaded Ukraine - which always looks bad, and Russia needs international support.

Also a direct attack on a western country would likely lead to some controversy at home. Putin biggest issue is actually being rolled by some domestic uprising of some sort.

I wrote the biggest issue in the comment above, it's the damned NEGOTIATION bs when there can be NO negotiating; at least China knows it.

Oh pffff. NATO would be wiped. UK needs to be obliterated. Duran is right tho, US will leave UK to take the blame, LOL. Art 5 is not mandatory, btw.
