Iran did try to kill and destroy last Saturday-that multiple Islamic countries shot down drones etc is significant. They may hate Israel but they hate Iran more - noted Russia has not shared its precision tech with Iran. Both points matter????
Iran knew full well its retaliation wouldn’t kill anyone. The purposes were to save face and to demonstrate to Israel that it has both deterrent and offensive capability. It accomplished those goals. Your statement about how hated Iran is by other Islamic countries in the Middle East may be a little out of date. May be. If Israel’s genocide of all Palestinians is completed at some point, and World War 3 (ongoing if undeclared now) doesn’t go nuclear during that murderous process, it will be interesting to see if Saudi Arabia doesn’t return to the embrace of the U.S. and the ‘Abrahamic accords.’ Putting anything past the Saudi royals is a bad idea- like putting anything past the U.S. empire.
Zelensky is a lame duck...possibly soon to be a dead duck. Why bother to negotiate with him.

China negotiated peace with Iran, Arabia and even Syria. BRICS and SCO is what Iran looks forward to.
