John Kiriakou sounds like a US Hawk attacking Yemenis for their attacks in the Red Sea. “Many more will die”! Clearly Mr Kiriakou knows nothing about Yemen and the Yemeni people who have been slaughtered by the US backed Saudis for 10 years. Mr Kiriakou I suggest you do some research about the Yemenis and what the US and their Saudi Proxy have done to them and their society, then maybe you will not be so hawkish about the Yemeni actions in the Red Sea.

"It was in international waters and under no obligation to stop."

Ah, Johhny. He must be thinking of the Rules-Based International Order.

That has been replaced, and none too soon, by the Houthi-Rules International Order.

And from there he just gets worse. Like Mark stated: 400K dead Yemenis from the ten years of fighting. And Michelle gets it. Yet John just keeps repeating that Teddy Roosevelt is going to come along and hit the Houthis with his big stick.

Truly Americans live in their own universe. There are cultural differences that elude them utterly.

Like how 26m Russians died to defeat Nazi Germany. And the Russians would do it again if needed. It's in their DNA.

Effing clueless.

John is an example of you can take the man out of the CIA, but you can't take the CIA out of the man. He has some moral code or he would not have gotten into trouble, but he didn't join the CIA without having a pretty twisted soul in the beginning.

The blockade is extremely damaging to the Shekel, its plummeting as of today. The price paid in terms of inflation by the west is serious. If the US wants to act cute and clever the resistance can block Hormuz and send the world economy into a tailspin. There always has to be a price or they never learn.

John, it's a war with no defined boundaries. People die in wars. The Houthis are showing the rest of the world that talk is cheap, and they're ready to put their lives on the line.

John's obvious contempt for Ansarallah and his willfully obtuse (mis)understanding of the blockade is out of line. POOL IS CLOSED!
