NATO may as well have held up a sign that says, "we wash our hands of Ukraine," because to condition its acceptance into NATO on a victory over Russia is laughable. Very soon, Ukraine will be fighting with slingshots and rocks. Zelensky should have known this was coming, after all, even Kissinger warned: To be an enemy of America is dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal.

Erdogan is old and his back is to the wall. Turkje's economy is performing abysmally, almost as bad as the Ukr offensive, so he held his nose, went back on his word vis-a-vis Russia and made a deal with people he knows are unreliable, just as he is. Hope it works out for the old man. Makes little difference to Russia either way.

They ARE furious over it. Hardliners are gonna use this as more evidence that Putin is TOO enamored and soft toward the West. Peter the Great was a wannabe and his stupidity made too many Russians into wannabes. DUGIN is right: EURASIA.

Yes, emotionally this betrayal is a big deal for some. Factually is is not. President Putin is not known to be highly emotional. Quite the opposite. Storm in a tea cup.

Stoltenberg: “There is no point in discussing Ukraine’s NATO membership if Kiev does not prevail in the ongoing conflict.” Stoltenberg said the quiet part out loud. They know Ukraine will never win the war, so they're letting Russia take care of their "Ukraine problem."

Well, Russia just has to blow it all up as soon as it enters Ukraine. I heard that is what happened to the depleted uranium that got sent there, blown up asap.
