Mark provides the most sensible analysis of current situations of anyone I’ve read. He also seems to avoid trying to “build bridges” to the extreme right which is all the rage amongst some on the left.
Thanks for this update on the ongoing situation in Syria vis-à-vis Türkiye. There's so much crap going on in Africa, South America, Ukraine, China/Taiwan, etc. that just staying superficially informed is impossible for the average citizen. Thankfully we have professionals in charge of dealing with these complex issues. I am joking, of course, as I live in the U.S. where ignorance is considered a virtue and U.S. foreign policy is very, very virtuous.
