Pity, I’d love to watch but Rumble is blocked in Russia.. 😞
Good interview, in a difficult situation. Lebanon prob will still be too hard a nut to crack for HTS etc, but that just means Israel reverts to bombing the cities as long as the US State Dept feeds them bombs, which is unfortunately minimum 4 years. Iran is getting ready for almost inevitable conflict with US which Israel wants to provoke more than anything else, and upcoming Trump administration clearly happy to play along. Perhaps they didn't reckon Syria is the best battleground in that light, especially as Russia never did quite control the airspace in its agreed-upon half of the country when it came to Israeli strikes. It's Libya 2.0. Ongoing conflict almost certain just because of pipeline politics (Saudi rivals won't want a stable North-South pipeline route to Turkey, for example). Refugee crisis for Europeans, among other things. Awful awful outcome for Palestinians and Lebanese. Russia apparently signaling ready to cut losses and focus on Ukraine (ie even if keeping bases in Tartus and Latakia, they're effectively useless militarily other than as refueling points for flights to Africa). Turkey almost immediately is now in conflict with its allies of yesterday, too.
